Locally owned and operated, Cappa Industries carries on a proud tradition of mechanical service at our long-standing workshop site.
Originally known as Country Engineering, the business was purchased in 1944 by George and Vera Maxwell, becoming Maxwell’s Garage. The Maxwell family served the community with integrity and mechanical know-how for over 60 years, until 2006, when the workshop became Lake Tyre & Exhaust Centre, operated by David and Anne for the next 18 years. Throughout this time Lake Tyre & Exhaust Centre continued to offer NRMA Roadside & Insurance, Mechanical work and also added Tyres to the offerings.
In 2016, Matt and Beck Brown founded Cappa Industries, and continue to run the workshop today. Built on a foundation of honesty, skill, and community values, Cappa Industries is proud to be The Dealership Alternative — offering trusted repairs and servicing by locals, for locals.
